Recently my regular matured with them, but instead of paying me the money on maturity it got pain some 4 working days later ????

I called them to explain why it took 4 working days for the money to be transfered to my current account, but he could not give me an answer instead just wasted my time tryign to sell me soemthign else !

Really pissed off with HSBC and confirm it is not a good bank !

I had a similar experience, though not as bad, they do ask for a lot of stuff after the initial letter.

HSBC just made record profits and says that it might now start charging on current accounts since they have had to reduce charges on credit card late payment fees.

well at times hsbc's internet banking can be a real pain. Although, i don't blame it since its a huge corporate. However, at times when problems arises, it is just not resolved easily in it. But still, i say it is a good bank to opt for.
