My question is, how many cash Isa's can I have open. I understand its one per tax year, but if I already have one open from last year, does thta mean i can't open another one with soemone else ?

You can open one cash ISA PER Tax year with any provider, so if you already have one from last year, you can open another one with someone else this tax year and again a seperate one next tax year etc...

And yes its only ONE per tax year


However, if yuo have more in an cash isa i.e. £6k then you may find that providers pay a higher interest rate
