How come your credit sorer does not take into account of the electoral register ?

Thanks for the input, you will find that we have now adjusted the scorer to reflect a persons status on the electoral roll.

It depends, since you do need long standing cards with good credit histories.

A good guide is not to have more than your annual gross salary as open credit, so if you have more than this unused credit limits then close them down.

Nice calculator, though I note a couple of things.

It does not take into account how much existing credit you have relative to your oustanding debt and income ?


Maybe you could look at adding that into it ?

Ive found your free calculator really useful :)

And can confirm that it is pretty accurate, cos I tested it against Esperians score and got a similar one. though I had to pay for that one :(

Great tool but would it possible to take into account whether the CCJ had been paid? I was accepted for a bank account only after I got the court to issue a certificate saying that the debt had been paid.
