I recommend autopix.co.uk for the processing of one off $ cheques.

Just cleared a $103 cheque and get £52 back - maybe not the best exchange rate but was easy to do and not worth the hassle of an citibank account which requires a £2k deposit

I tried citibank for them you need to open a current account first and put in £2000 and your salary

I also recommend autopix for those one off cheques - very fast service !

I am not sure of autopix, but the regular service providers like forex etc charge too heavy and do not allow low amount checks.
